The stones of melted glaciers, 2019

This installation presents a collection of 15 kinds of minerals under glass. These samples were taken in the last 10 years in different corners of the world such as in Iceland, the United States, Svalbard, Canada, Sweden and New Zealand.

Stones or sandy rocks found in moraines or lagoons formed by melting glaciers. These minerals question us about ecology and global warming.

There will be a day when only these stones will remain to talk about the glaciers that will have all gone.

Wooden shelf. 15 phials. Variable sized minerals.
Overall dimension : 20x20x200 cm
